Salvatore Ferragamo’s 100 Years In Hollywood

Celebs headed to the iconic brand’s not too long ago renovated Rodeo Drive store Wednesday night to have fun the anniversary of Salvatore Ferragamo’s arrival in the city of Angels.
Celebrating one hundred years since Salvatore Ferragamo himself landed in Los Angeles to make sneakers for actresses like Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Rita Hayworth, the brand’s Rodeo Drive store opened its doors on Wednesday night with a star-laden cocktail event. Highlighting a whole store overhaul pioneered by architect William Sofield, the placement now showcases men’s and women’s ready-to-put on, sneakers and luggage ensconced in luxurious salons, offering plenty of privateness for A-listing customers.

Demi Moore (with daughters Tallulah and Scout Willis in tow), Freida Pinto, Camilla Belle, Kiernan Shipka, Angela Lindvall and Cody Horn were only a few of the stars who stopped by to provide their congratulations to leather product director James Ferragamo, artistic director Massimiliano Giornetti, CEO Michele Norsa and Fulvia Ferragamo.
James summed up the evening: “For us, Hollywood is the place it all began. It was essential for my grandfather to create distinctive shoes for movies and celebrities who became his purchasers. This is the perfect location to create something completely different than all the opposite shops. We really curated all the totally different detailing and materials like the wooden and marble. Consideration to detail is what Ferragamo is all about./p>
Belle, sporting a dramatic eye-shadow look and clad head-to-toe in Ferragamo from the fall 2015 assortment, gushed about the brand. “I have a very lengthy and lovely relationship with Ferragamo and Massimiliano, and that i always need to be able to assist when i can.
