Ferragamo Uomo Fragrance Launch
July 23, 2018
A fragrance launch get together will be a fairly tepid, run-of-the-mill affair in New York, but last night’s Salvatore Ferragamo shingdig for its new men’s fragrance, Uomo, was anything however. Held at Rose Bar inside the Gramercy Park Resort, the get together was thrown as a traditional Italian aperitivo, full with passed prosciutto with melon, fried artichokes, and plenty of cannoli.
On show was not only a lavish array from the genius florists from Putnam & Putnam, but also the new Uomo campaign video starring actor Ben Barnes. Rose Bar is a comfy, decadent space, and these parts only helped make it really feel all of the more particular. The model did a stellar job of bringing together a lively group for the affair, as nicely. There have been the occasion fixtures we know and love—Leigh Lezark, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Hilary Rhoda, and RJ King amongst them—but it was a handful of lesser-seen faces in the room that stood out, like Tictail cofounder Carl Waldekranz, Grace Kelly’s granddaughter Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, Boyhood star Ellar Coltrane, and singer-songwriter Ian Mellencamp. “I may need a few reveals developing, so we’ll see,Mellencamp advised us. “But I’m mostly excited to be again in the studio engaged on new music./p>
This was not the first and will certainly not be the last style celebration at Rose Bar. However for some cause, this was a very memorable mix of people. Seeing Susan Sarandon dance in the corner whereas her son Miles Robbins deejayed was a sight we won’t soon neglect. However the best a part of the evening came whereas standing in the foyer, watching visitors accumulate their Uomo present baggage and file out onto Lexington Avenue. It was then that we overheard one partygoer say: “Did you smell the fragrance yet?
